i don't think you have to disclose anything from 8th grade

i mean maybe it falls under the question technically, but so would a timeout you got in 2nd grade and i don't think you'd have to disclose that either

general rule of thumb imo should be hs and later

You write a two sentence addendum acknowledging that it was inappropriate behavior, that the punishment drove home that the behavior was unacceptable, and that you have not repeated it since.

Take ownership of your mistakes. Beyond that, I doubt admissions will give it a second glance.

So a one-day suspension from high school requires disclosure? Only for the schools that say ANY institution as opposed to those that say any college, university, etc?
