Smart. Even if your three-semester leave of absence were to raise any eyebrows if you applied K-JD (and I agree that it likely would not), a couple years of work experience would make it a complete non-issue.

Working for a couple of years before law school is a good idea regardless, as you have realized. You'll do great.

The lack of extracurriculars in college with similarly be a non-issue. That GPA/LSAT combo is gonna carry you to the promised land.
