140 Lsat 3.2GPA Any advice? Any chance?
Hello!
I am seeking a little advice. I am well aware a 140 LSAT is close to awful, I won't get into why or how I managed to score so low.. however I am curious to see if anyone has gotten accepted into ABA schools with a 140 being as I'm going to apply anyway.
140 LSAT
3.2 GPA
Major - legal studies
Minor - psychology
Any chance of getting accepted? In FLORIDA
I've applied Fl a&m and Barry's.
Helpful insight only please.

Based on the article below, it seems Florida schools are paying especially close attention to LSAT scores and their correlation with bar passage. If you are willing to relocate, you may have a shot at Appalachian depending on your softs. (The data shows they have accepted people with scores as low as 142).
As I am sure you expect, pretty much everyone here at TLS is going to advise you retake. If you can do better, you can save a lot of money by getting into a better school, and your job prospects will be better. On top of that, there would gave greater potential for a scholarship. Good luck!

Do not go to any school that would take you with a 140 LSAT

Is English your second language? Not to sound condescending, and by no means am I an LSAT master but a 140 shows a very high probability of not being a competent lawyer. Study for a couple months and at least get up to 150, then think about schools like Florida Coastal, Nova and others - be be warned employment chances are slim when you get down into those schools.

Seriously this. Your most likely outcome upon graduation will be sitting on top of $200,000 of debt with no job, with a questionable chance of even being admitted to practice.DaydreamNation wrote:Do not go to any school that would take you with a 140 LSAT
