Re: Went from 167 to 174, deposited at T13. What to do now?
You have stats that are good enough for YHS and/ or a full ride to the t-13. You must reapply. It is a no brainer. Take a job you would enjoy for a year.

1. Yes.
2. No harm, but if you don't get a significant scholarship offer, don't go.
3. Short.
4. If you're not getting a broad waiver through LSAC, you'll probably want to reach out to schools closer to the beginning of the next cycle.
5. You can always retake, but you're in fantastic shape as is. Anything post-173 is really the point of diminishing returns, so if you were absolutely desperate to be above both 75ths for HYS, retaking would make sense. Otherwise, I think you can safely assume you've hit your peak.

If you can get Cornell to bump you up to a full and you want to go now, that's a defensible choice imo. Anything short of that and you really should reapply. I would reapply.

Definitely reapply, unless you get some last minute full ride offer. As a point of reference, consider: using May data, there are 3,775 people with better scores than your first LSAT, and only 403 people with better scores than your second. Additionally, and perhaps more importantly, you are now above the median score at EVERY school. Total game changer.

Sit out a year. If you are retroactively accepted to the schools that rejected you already, you likely won't be maximizing your scholarship offers. Sit out a year and get some work experience. You might find you don't want to go to law school after all and save yourself the frustration of finding this out down the line. If you do still want to go, have your apps ready to go on September 1 for next cycle, and blanket the T13. Enjoy your full rides.
