Help me- score discussion advice really needed.
Hello,
I recently received my score and was very dissapointed. I have a 4.0 gpa and was consistently getting 169-170 on the practice tests with a high of 177 but received a 164 on the June test. I really don't want to take it again but feel that I may have too. I was wondering what schools my current grade would get me into (the top schools). I was also wondering how I would study again. For more background info on me, I will be working at EY for a year or two before attending law school.
Thank you in advance for your responses.
Andrew

You have an ok shot at some of the lower T13. But it'd be wasting that GPA to not retake. Scoring closer to your practice tests would get you significant money at those same schools.

You're going to have some options in the T13 because of that GPA combined with an ~25% LSAT, but hit your PT and you'll be in named scholarship territory for the lower T13 and possible chances in the upper tiers. You're the best type of retaker. Good luck!

Thank you for your responses, I'm not sure what went wrong with this test. What does -25% mean?

It means that your LSAT score puts you somewhere around the lower T13's 25th percentiles. Law schools publish their 25th, median, and 75th percentile LSAT scores annually.Andrews wrote:Thank you for your responses, I'm not sure what went wrong with this test. What does -25% mean?
And you absolutely must retake. We're talking hundreds of thousands of dollars here.
