Undergraduate Internships/Jobs

Post by wKnees » Tue May 02, 2017 2:19 am

Hi Everyone!

Just wondering if being a sous chef at a restaurant during my undergrad career would help or hurt me during the application cycle? As in, instead of summer internships, I worked at local restaurants and during school did much of the same. I didn't get a chance to participate in many formal internships, just one my freshman summer. Thanks beforehand!

Well, work experience is good but like anything, how much it will help depends on how you spin it.

Will it hurt?

If no, then I don't see how it can hurt you.

Won't hurt at all, work experience is always good to have.
