I applied last year, deposited at a school, withdrew in June, and got in again this year with a scholarship offer in line with my numbers. Didn't seem to hurt me.

I EDd to a school last year and did not get in. I got in this year RD. Again, does not appear to have hurt me.

make sure you tell the school you're not going instead of just not depositing, and give a reason (job, money, retake, etc).
