I posted this on a different board, but didn't receive a response:
I just checked LSN. Several posters (with my stats) have already received letters of admission. We sent in our applications around the same time (I sent my app a few days earlier). Any thoughts as to why I didn't get a decision? I'm a reapplicant, so maybe it takes longer? I'm feeling pretty bummed.
FWIW, LSAC predictor puts me between the 50th and 75th percentile for admission.

1. LSAC predictor is garbage.
2. It's not over until you've got a decision in hand.
Nobody can tell you definitively what makes some apps take longer to review.

Thanks for your response. I literally have the same numbers as some of the people accepted. Some have 1 point higher on the LSAT. Also, what's a good predictor, if there is one? Thanks.patrickkpaul wrote:1. LSAC predictor is garbage.

I'm not sure there's a good predictor by MyLSN is the best one, probz. Plug in your numbers and check it out.

Re: Advice for reapplicant
Depends on the school but that 1point makes a massive difference. I got accepted to some schools almost immediately than my friend who has the exact same GPA but one point less on the LSAT. I'm sure I'm being held up at some scholls while people with one more point than me were accepted ages ago.Plurple_Unicorn wrote:Thanks for your response. Honestly there's not a better predictor for you at this point. You seem in tune with the current cycle. Follow the applicant threads and LSN. You see who is getting in and who isn't. Hang tight.
