Do they accept any updated documents?
Hi,
So my professor's letter is finally processed by LSAC, but I have already submitted some applications...
Can I submit any updated documents even if the deadlines are passed?
What about resume or personal statement etc?
Thanks for your insights!

you can update certain documents, including submitting a new LOR, but you cannot submit a new PS. you can update your resume.Shangrilala wrote:Hi,

For updated LORs by the same person, you have to process it as a "new" recommender and assign it to schools that way.
I don't know the policy with assigning letters of recommendation post-submission, so hopefully someone else can chime in.

Re: Do they accept any updated documents?
When I received new LORs after submitting my applications, I just assigned them to the school on LSAC, and LSAC sent them as a supplement to the application right away.

Once its been processed and all, LSAC will automatically send the letters to the schools where you've submitted. I don't think there is any way to confirm that it was received (technically, you can't confirm that for your first couple letters other than by your application being complete). I called LSAC a few weeks ago about this and they assured me that any letter received after you had submitted your application would be automatically sent along to the schools.Shangrilala wrote:Thanks, so I just assigned them, but how do we know it is sent?
