How generous are ND and BC with scholarships? Forum

USC recently gave me $45,000 a year, and I remain in the running for the Frank Rothman scholarship. Can I expect the same kind of money from Notre Dame and Boston College, seeing as they're all comparable? Also, have any of you had an experience negotiating for more money with any of these schools?

ND has been pretty generous in recent cycles. BC is pretty stingy generally. ND offered me a higher scholarship than BC a couple years ago, and BC refused to budge even though I showed them that a higher ranked school had offered me more money.

USC, ND and BC are all household names in their respective regions and don't face a ton of pressure to substantially increase their individual scholarship offers. Good luck with your negotiations though.

I received 135 from Notre Dame, and 96,000 from BC. Above both medians at both. If this data helps.
