Help! how much do I disclose?
So I posted barely a week ago about writing a LOCI. However, since then, I've had to leave my job because of harassment and am being placed in a new position. I want to talk about my new job but considering I was only at my old job for five months, I feel like I need an explanation. Do I talk about the situation that forced me to leave or do I just talk about the new job and hope they don't think too much about it?

Just put a positive spin on your new job. Absolutely no need to talk about why you left unless there was a C&F issue on your part.

You don't need an explanation. You should just talk about the new job - they won't care that you were only at your old job for 5 months. Don't worry about it!
(and I'm sorry about the harassment)

Are you still with the same firm/company ? If so, no need for any explanation based on what you have shared so far.

Thank you all so much for the advice! This makes me feel better about my situation.
Sorry, that wasn't very clear. I'm in the government program AmeriCorps. So I'm still with the same program, my partner organization (the place I'll actually do the work) and duties will change.CanadianWolf wrote:Are you still with the same firm/company ? No need to explain change in duties if still with the same program.
