How long it takes to receive log-in info of the online status checker? Forum

I have submitted applications to four schools last Thursday, and so far I only received the username & password of the online status checker for two of them. Does anyone know how long it usually takes to get the log-in info from law schools? Thank you.

What schools are you talking about?

Does it say submitted on the LSAC website? If you're seriously worried, just shoot admissions an email telling them you don't have the login info.

iirc, most schools don't have a login you just use your last name or something?

Nah, there's a log-in. For most schools, it's the same because they use the same status checker site, but you get a username and temporary password then reset the password.

It's really a matter of time of when the school sends the status checker out. Some have a quick turnaround while some don't and it takes them longer.
