Unfinished Masters Program on Resumé

Post by kpadoreo » Tue Dec 13, 2016 6:18 am

I started a Masters program last year but stopped after one semester because I wasn't happy with the program and wanted to go straight to law school instead. I plan to address this in an optional addendum, but am wondering if I need to write the university on my resumé. If I do, what information do I include? I'm sending schools the transcripts so they'll be able to see the courses I took and my grades....

I am in the same boat (withdrew voluntarily). I wrote an addendum describing why I withdrew (and make sure you emphasize that you did so voluntarily, not that it was forced due to bad grades or something). I didn't include it on my resume because I didn't actually finish anything.
