Brief Resume Question (Cumulative GPA or Only UG Classes)
So I initially acquired my Associates from a CC and then transferred to my UG where I completed my degree.
So quick question: On my resume, I list both schools (CC and UG) and am wondering for my UG GPA if I should list my cumulative GPA which would include my CC GPA, or if I should only record my UG GPA according to the classes that I took at my UG institution?
If clarification about my question is needed please let me know.
Thanks to anyone with information about this matter.

You can put whatever, but you should make it clear which one you're using.TheBook wrote:So I initially acquired my Associates from a CC and then transferred to my UG where I completed my degree.

I assume "Cumulative GPA: X.XX" would imply that I am including both my CC and UG GPA's; however, is there a proper way to notate my UG GPA if I were to be including only those classes taken at my UG?
I suppose I could put "Undergraduate GPA: X.XX" although I am not entirely certain if that is clear enough.

"Institution GPA" maybe, especially if you also include the cumulative. CC is also undergraduate, so that one doesn't help clarify at all.TheBook wrote:Thank you for your help.rinkrat19 wrote:You can put whatever, but you should make it clear which one you're using.TheBook wrote:So I initially acquired my Associates from a CC and then transferred to my UG where I completed my degree.

Thank you very much. I will include both "Institution GPA:" and "Cumulative GPA:" for good measure.rinkrat19 wrote:"Institution GPA" maybe, especially if you also include the cumulative. Or you could not put your gpa on your resume, to avoid any confusion or waste of space. They get your transcripts and the lsac calculated gpa.

If my LSAC GPA is a good deal higher than my university GPA would it be better to leave my GPA off my resume?

Some people put their lsac gpa on their resume. As long as you label it appropriately. But its not sneaky or anything. The schools get them both. Just whatever your preference is for your resume re:applications.blackmamba8 wrote:If my LSAC GPA is a good deal higher than my university GPA would it be better to leave my GPA off my resume?
