Wait to apply pending app fee waiver??

Post by MAPP » Tue Sep 27, 2016 1:59 pm

If I start an application on lsac will I be unable to receive a fee waiver based on merit from that school? In addition to the t14, I'm applying to other schools, but I could potentially get a fee waiver from them once I get my september lsat score, and I'd rather not pay the application fee if I don't have to.

No, typically, you shouldn't become ineligible just for opening an application to that school on LSAC. I had applications open for a number of schools, and received fee waivers for some of them a couple of months later. Strangely enough, few of those same schools refused to give me a fee waiver when I originally emailed them about it.
