i heard military service is usually seen as positive
but will law schools be hesitant to accept someone who can be deployed at anytime?
although there are no major conflicts right now
Depends. I performed right at my numbers. Some way over perform.

If your unit is in the pipeline for something, you might consider holding off a year. If you're simply talking about the generic "we could go with 72 hours' notice at anytime" then I don't think it's a big deal at all.

I've never heard of a school passing on an applicant due to the possibility that their military obligations might impact their legal education. That would be downright un-American.
