Hello all,
The undergrad professor I asked for an LoR says she has never written one for law schools (she only got tenure recently) and wanted to clarify some housekeeping details with me: length, spacing etc.
Any thoughts from the hive mind?

Thank you!zeglo wrote:General advice is one full page. Official letterhead of the school. Size 11 or 12. Standard headings and official formatting, perhaps with the address/receiver as LSAC.
However, I know someone who had a three-pager from a professor she knew extremely well. So I think any length is okay if there is content. I know in general, one page is okay. Make sure it emphasizes academic prowess and ability to succeed in law school and mentions personal anecdotes if possible.

same rule as a resume: if it goes onto a 2d page there had better be a good reason or it just hurts you
