aba guidelines on studying at two different universities

Post by john1990 » Mon Aug 29, 2016 11:15 am

I would like to start law school in the fall of 2017, but i will be half way through my mba program at that point. Will i be able to take online classes at the mba program and on ground courses at law school? I will be a part time student. I asked the law school for their input and they said they would get back to me this afternoon. Sorry but i am inpatient

I think that only the law school you intend to matriculate to can really answer this question. To my knowledge, unless you're in an approved joint degree program, you can't be enrolled at two different schools at once. If you do this in an unapproved fashion, it can jeopardize you not only at the law school, but also in your MBA program. If you're planning on going to law school at the same place where you're currently getting your MBA, look into the joint degree admissions process and make sure both the MBA and the JD admins are okay with the dual enrollment.
