LOR from English I Professor

Post by StopLawying » Mon Jul 25, 2016 6:14 pm

Took this professor my first semester. Was one of those mandatory English I classes, lots of writing but not too challenging. Additionally, it was a long time ago.
However, this professor had already written a separate LOR for me for a course exemption. Had a chance to see the letter and it was awesome: full of anecdotes, well-written, etc. Completely trust this guy. Also got A+ in the class. My question: Would it be a bad idea to ask this guy for a LOR? Concerned because it's a pretty basic course + took him freshman year. TIA.

Yeah that's fine. Any prof who knows your work and will write a good letter is fine.

Letters of rec don't really matter (unless maybe they're negative)

Thanks, exactly what I wanted to hear!
