Re: Fall 2017 Excitement
Besides the long wait to hear from schools, yes I'm excited lol. Been planning on going to lawl school since I started undergrad and did more research on it all during my sophomore year. Doing law related internships really sparked my interest even more and got me more hype about it! So applying is just the start

Excited is a strong word, but I'm getting there. I'm still playing with my PS and waiting on recs but everything will be ready by September and I'm really looking forward to applying everywhere and hearing back. I really just want to know where I'm going to live next year

Re: Fall 2017 Excitement
I'm super excited, been wanting to go to law school since the beginning of undergrad and to be honest can't believe it's already been as long as it's been and that it's time to apply. I'm just finishing up my last essay and otherwise just making tweaks here and there and rounding up my last letter of rec. Can't wait to be able to send them off in September and just wait for responses

I think most should be excited. How often in life do you get to blather about yourself and people have to shut up and listen?

Definitely excited. Hoping to hear back early from some schools (Duke PT ftw) to help alleviate some anxiety.zeglo wrote:Is anyone else getting really excited to finally be able to apply? I have been planning my application (and doing LSAT stuff) since October. It's all coming together; I am nervous but optimistic.
Anyone else feeling this way?

Re: Fall 2017 Excitement
It depends on the day for me - sometime I'm really excited and can't wait to see where I'm going to be living next year. Other times, I'm a bit anxious by the debt and wanting to become a DPT or PTA... but I have thought about the decision a lot and have my reasons for why LS over a DPT program
.
The only real hesitation for me is I really do not like history classes, but for some odd reason I got a degree in secondary education - social studies (I was hoping I could find work as a psych or sociology teacher. 400-level history classes contributed to my sub-par 3.33 GPA) and sometimes fear that I am delving deeper into that kind of stuff. However, when I talk to attorneys about law, or do things related to the law, I really enjoy it. All-in-all, I will be excited come September 25.

In all seriousness though, I started studying for the LSAT in May of 2015, and have been dreaming of law school the entire way. I went from wanting to do to Denver or SLU to busting my butt to get into the t14. Here's to hoping the hard work pays off

Re: Fall 2017 Excitement
Lol, no worries, this is my first app cycle as well. But for me, it usually takes about 10-15 mins., just because you want to make sure you're inputting the correct information, and uploading the correct documents (and triple checking that you have the correct school's name on it). Overall, they mostly all ask for the same info, but reading is key, and I'm a stickler for details so I'm sure other people don't take this long but it takes me awhile. It gives you a sense of accomplishment when the application says 100% complete, however, lol.StopLawying wrote:How long do apps take to fill out?
