Is 3.0 too low to ED Washington St. Louis with a decent LSAT?
My gpa is somewhere around 3.0. ( went to 3 schools I added everything together myself).
My past LSAT in Feb is 166, gonna retake it in Oct see if the score can get a bit higher or not.
Is my number too low to ED Washington St. Louis?
Thanks

Have all of your transcripts sent to LSAC and then use those totals. My LSAC GPA was .4 lower than the totals I had between CC and my 4 year school because the LSAC calculates GPA differently.yfang12 wrote:My gpa is somewhere around 3.0. ( went to 3 schools I added everything together myself).

Thanks
My UG GPA from school shows 3.3 and LSAC shows 2.9
Edit: also be careful doing ED at schools because if they accept you then you are locked in and they have no incentive tot give you scholarship money

Your numbers will not preclude you from applying ED, but assuming you are asking about your chances of getting in, I doubt that you will get in as your numbers stand, but I don't run admissions, so my opinion matters nought. Also, you are leaving out some info that could help...Are you URM by any means?yfang12 wrote:My gpa is somewhere around 3.0. ( went to 3 schools I added everything together myself).

Pretty sure WUSTL gives a full-ride to ED admits.Nachoo2019 wrote:

I was accepted ED at WUSTL with a 3.57/167.
There isn't a lot of data since WUSTL only began its ED w/ full scholarship two years ago. But you will likely need a better LSAT (like 170+) to get accepted. 166 isn't even at their current median, so with your current stats, your chances are slim to none.

Thanks man, I will work harder to aim for the 170 I guess. Only have one class between now and Oct so I have plenty time to studyacr wrote:They do.lymenheimer wrote:Pretty sure WUSTL gives a full-ride to ED admits.Nachoo2019 wrote:

If you do happen to get your LSAT into the 170-174 range, then I would get some better advice and consider NU's ED as well. You might be a viable candidate for NU's ED with a higher LSAT, which would obviously be a better option than WUSTL ED. But I don't know enough about NU's ED to give intelligent advice about it. So for now, just get that LSAT over 170!yfang12 wrote:Thanks man, I will work harder to aim for the 170 I guess. Northwestern, WUSTL, and BU do it.Nachoo2019 wrote:Oooohhhh I was under the impression NU was the only one to do something like thatlymenheimer wrote:Pretty sure WUSTL gives a full-ride to ED admits.Nachoo2019 wrote: Edit: also be careful doing ED at schools because if they accept you then you are locked in and they have no incentive tot give you scholarship money

Someone with a lower GPA than you and a 173 (iirc) got $120k RD.
Probably won't get in ED without a much higher LSAT but worth a shot. Study hard and become and actual splitter though. As it stands, you're below both medians.
