LSAC GPA Question?

Post by Barack O'Drama » Mon May 16, 2016 4:08 pm

Quick question. My college transcripts have been received and processed by the LSAC. I Tried to search the forum for a clear answer and found what I think is the answer, but I would like to confirm. I was expecting to see what I heard commonly referred to as the LSAC/LSAD GPA (or something to that effect)

Which is the GPA that will be sent to law schools? The one listed under Degree summary GPA or cumulative GPA? They are both liked at the bottom of the Academic summary report.

It is listed like this:

Degree (Summary) GPA: 3.84 Cumulative GPA: 3.91

Thanks in advanced

Cumulative GPA is what LSAC calculated. Your degree GPA is your GPA noted on your college's transcipt.

Thanks Mikey! I thought that was the case, but certainly wanted to confirm with someone on here. So looks like the law schools will see the higher GPA! Good news today 8)

Thank you man! I'm just glad it turned out ok because of some community college classes I took in high school. (Couple of Bs)

:) all is well that ends well I suppose. Now to get back to the LSAT
