Can I use the old materials, such as LORs, personal statement from last year?
Hey Guys! I am confused if there will be a problem using the old application materials from last year. Will it be a negative effect on my overall application? I graduated from college last year and my LORs and personal statement were all from last year. I used them to apply some of the law schools, and I am wondering if I can use them again to reply law schools later this year. They are already in my LSAC account. First of all, it will be convenient for me to use those materials already on file. Second, I have a gap year, so I cannot find any other new professors to write me LORs. So, anyone has similar experiences? Thanks for helping me out!!!

You could search your title verbatim and get hundreds of results. Aka: yes you can reuse, but you should have something different about your application. Preferably higher lsat/gpa, different PS, new LOR, in that order of importance.

Yes. You should change up your PS a bit and obviously update your resume though.lalababy wrote:Yes. Can I at least re-use the same LORs ?Rigo wrote:Are you applying to the same schools?

Yeah... It is a gap year, so my GPA will remain unchanged. Also, I am not going to any other schools, so I can't get new LORs from new professors.lymenheimer wrote:You could search your title verbatim and get hundreds of results.
