International gpa: superior vs above average

Post by townizm » Thu Apr 21, 2016 9:05 pm

Is it that different in admission, between receiving superior and AA?

I know that they will not reported but I heard that YHS and chicago care about applicant's gpa is superior or not.

However I dont care about them because they're not in my range.

How about lower t14~t20 schools? Are they care about it?

Actually it does make a difference for a bunch of the top 14 schools. You wont have a gpa thats reported but generally they think of superior as 3.5-4 whereas above average is 3.-3.5. They don't have to report the number, but if you wanted the top 6-8 schools or so, it really needs to be a superior.

PM me if you want more info.

Edit: just actually read your thing. Get a superior then crush the lsat. A 172+ gets you into H/S. It might not matter for Georgetown, but then again you don't wanna go there.
