Travel stipend after withdrawing

Post by duras92 » Tue Apr 05, 2016 7:17 pm

I have recently visited a law school during the admitted student day. I was not impressed and have already withdrawn my application from this school. However, I submitted my receipts for travel and such about a week prior to withdrawing my application and did not hear back from them. Is there any chance that the school will refuse to mail me a check for the travel stipend because I have withdrawn?

Thanks.

Nah. I had something similar happen. While I wasn't so quick to withdraw and made sure I got the money back, they still paid. I'd fight them on the money (depending on how much). Have nothing to lose..

No school is going to fight you on refunding the stipend. Not worth the time, headache, or stigma that would come with it. You'll be fine.
