Harvard interview date predicts admission/WL?

Post by R2D7point5 » Fri Mar 11, 2016 3:05 pm

I just got my JS1 invitation. Is this a bad sign for my chance of admission? Obviously a better sign than not getting JS1, but I mean compared to if I had interviewed earlier. Is it unrealistic to view this as meaning I have a decent shot at admission at this point?

Edit: I applied on/around Thanksgiving

They wouldn't invite you to interview if you didn't have a shot. If they invited you for an interview, it means they still have spots to fill.

You may get more help posting this in the Harvard applicants thread in the acceptances/wait lists/rejections forum.

I also posted it there. Pretty much what I got back from them was just to be happy I got JS1. So I'll take that advice and try to chill.
