Spring Break and admissions
I was wondering if anyone knew if although classes are cancelled for spring break if the admissions officers would still be reviewing applications?

If the office is open, sure.

At most schools the administrative offices are open for regular work weeks even when students are off, so I imagine admissions offices are business as usual - especially during their busy seasons (now).

Aw, c'mon man! Why I gotta stay in my cave reading files while you guys are all at the beach?
But yes, as I tell students every year who sound surprised to hear the school doesn't shut down and cease to exist when they aren't around, we don't get a spring break. I also have people ask me what I'm doing with my "summer off".
That said, a lot of AdComs with kids do take vacation days over spring break for family trips, etc.

I was looking through the spreadsheets and we've had almost no decisions this week. I was hoping spring break was the casuse, but I guess if we are still waiting we have the waitlist or a ding to look forward to.SPerez wrote:Aw, c'mon man!
