Are you Brazilian? If you are, I can help you. I'm Brazilian and I've been browsing this forum for almost 4 years, so I know quite a bit about J.D. admissions.

If you can write a compelling personal statement, it might be useful, but I don't see the LL.B. being a major factor in admission decisions. Your work experience, on the other hand, could be a strong soft factor, but the key would still be your GPA (or equivalent) and LSAT.

Cheers. Do you think work experience is more important than service?
Service being public service or volunteering? It would in large measure depend on the nature of the work and the nature of the volunteering, I think.
