Brandeis Email
Anyone else get an email from Brandeis with the email addresses of hundreds of other applicants included? Ie, they sent the email direct rather than BCC'ing everyone. What an enormous error that I am very much not pleased about. How can you make that mistake??? So, so dumb.

Randomly clicked on it and was shocked when I saw all those names. I immediately came here to see if anyone would discuss it! What a privacy violation

Re: Brandeis Email
To me this means Brandeis should lose the privilege of having access to that email list for at least a year. But I'm sure they pay LSAC for the list, so I'd be shocked if that happened.

That could probably make the news. However, what can't make the news nowadays?

That's funny, when I got it I was like hmm 90% chance there's a thread on this on TLS already. Guess I should get a new email address. i wonder how much all those addresses would be worth in the sales world

Re: Brandeis Email
In related e-mail shenanigans, did anyone else get the Drexel e-mail (the one with the tennis-centric subject line) that said they would match any in-state tuition, which was followed by a nearly identical e-mail that said they would match any in-state tuition, as long as that state was AZ, NJ, DE, PA, FL, VA, IA, WI, WA, SC, MO, or MI? Just thought it was kinda funny. There are some schools with some really low in-state tuitions (WVU comes to mind), and when the first e-mail came through, I had a feeling they effed something up.
Rough day for email.

Is it bad that I think it would be really funny if someone replied all?
I mean, it's the only way the school is going to realize its mistake.
