Hi guys!
I hope you guys are having a successful cycle. Columbia is my top choice, and one of the supervisors at work who is a graduate of Columbia Law offered to write me LOR. I think she would be able to write me a really good recommendations targeted to Columbia. I couldnt ask her before because she was on a leave while I was working on the apps.
Problem is, I am already maxed out on recommendation (3 academic, 1 professional). I am planning on calling the admissions office tomorrow and find out whether they would accept LOR that gets faxed/emailed (bc I'm maxed out on LSAC). What are y'all thoughts?

How does it compare to your current LORs?
To be honest, I wouldn't worry about it too much. I don't think the LOR will make any real difference.

Thanks for your response! That's what I think so too, but if it had 0.000001 chance of having the admissions committee take another look at my app, I am considering sending that LOR.Good Guy Gaud wrote:How does it compare to your current LORs?

So Columbia requires one from work. The LOR that was submitted would be subpar, pretty average and nothing spectacular. This one would be far more passionate, I think.
