Help needed - foreign transcript evaluation pending after 2 months! Forum

Hi everyone

AACRAO sent me a lousy evaluation in November with an average that didn't make any sense even when calculating for a worst possible scenario, so I sent it back for reevaluation.

Since November 13th I haven't heard anything from them, and deadlines are approaching fast. My applications are otherwise complete and have been transmitted to the schools. All that is needed for my credential report is some kind of evaluated transcript, but right now neither my original evaluation or any new evaluation are available and all my applications are on lock.

I'm at the point where I don't care if my grades are evaluated incorrectly, I just don't want to miss the deadlines! LSAC can't give me any info on where the evaluation stands.

Has anyone had a similar experience or has any advice on what I should do? would contacting the schools help?

Definitely something is going wrong. I'd call LSAC and ask.

I've done that a number of times already and they can't give me any further info since they don't have access to AACRAO. I have concluded that I'll take a trip down to AACRAO headquaters tomorrow and not leave without an answer or results.
