No one has a crystal ball. We can't tell you with certainty how a variety of adcomm will react to these events. It's in your power to shape your narrative and spin the events so that they provide a compelling story--or at the very least don't significantly affect your status as a viable applicant. It's up to you to seek out skilled assistance and give it your best shot. You don't have anything to lose by giving your best shot--if it doesn't work out--no regrets that's all you can do.
