Re: Application discrepancy
My understanding of overall vs cumulative is that cumulative pertains to particular semesters and overall is an average of cumulatives. If your addendum is addressing a particular timeframe, then I would think it's appropriate to talk about your average for that timeframe. The average is what matters here, unless you're talking about particular courses or semesters.
These sound like minor things that will not have an impact, and I would guess you're fine whether you clarify the accolade issue or not, but maybe someone with specific experience here could answer better.

Re: Application discrepancy
Sorry, my ASR has my "cumulative" as what I defined as overall above. Bottom line is that your average for a given timeframe is an accurate statement of your performance for the timeframe.

Ok, and is it worth mentioning the GPA understatement for the accolade or is it just a minute detail?

I don't think anyone cares about academic honors unless it's Rhodes Scholar.tezzeret wrote:Ok, and is it worth mentioning the GPA understatement for the accolade or is it just a minute detail?
