What would be something worth putting in the Ucla addendum? Seems pretty open. I was debating modifying my diversity statement (about struggles growing up because I grew up overseas and experienced difficulties integrating into normal US life) and mentioning how LA is a diverse community that I would like to be a part of and it is a place where I can be with my brother (long lost brother. No joke).
Also, what is the program contribution? I have a background in engineering with work experience and graduate research. Would that constitute being able to contribute to the IP program?
Sorry for the poor formatting. It's 1am and I'm frantic because of my higher than expected LSAT.

For the UCLA programmatic contribution I went with the asylum clinic because I already have a background in a very specific subgroup of asylum cases that I know make up a large portion of LA asylum applicants. Is there any program at UCLA you think would benefit especially from your skillset?

Re: Ucla addendum and program contribution?
I have research experience from grad school (engineering) where I designed a robot movement algorithm. I was involved in working with the FAA and trained by boeing for a position in the airline industry (designing structural repairs). I also work in the automotive industry now with a company that is involved in a big environmental scandal with the EPA...
Figured this would help contribute to the Intellectual Property program mainly due to my engineering background.

Yep. Sounds like a solid option indeed.87mm wrote:I have research experience from grad school (engineering) where I designed a robot movement algorithm.
