Disclosing infractions

Post by Unfathomableruckus » Mon Jan 04, 2016 10:24 pm

I already asked this on Reddit, but all I got was someone who was convinced that my infractions are actually misdemeanors. They are definitely not. I checked the records. I have had two of these, twice for an open container and once for fare evasion on public transportation. I'm not worried about disclosing, and I am when it's obviously necessary. UC Berkeley wants any citation listed, so I did an addendum, however, most schools are asking for misdemeanors or felonies specifically, of which I have none. I don't want to disclose unnecessarily and look like I can't read instructions, but I don't want C+F issues later on. I am thinking I might disclose them anyway though because I think it makes me look really decent. Maybe I'm being stupid though. Help.

Disclose it. Cover your ass down the road just in case. It's all numbers, it will have no effect

That's my instinct. I was thinking of just having a sentence or two explaining that I know they aren't misdemeanors or felonies but I want to disclose them anyway.
