Low GPA, High LSAT, Top School Chances?
Hey everyone,
With a 3.2-3.4 GPA, Bachelor's in Politics from a top lib arts school (Occidental College), good softs like working at my senator's office, working with the ACLU, community organizing experience, field rep for a voters' rights campaign, member of my school's student government, writer for my school's newspaper, African-American male and a 170+ LSAT score... what are my chances at schools like NYU, Columbia, Georgetown, Chicago, Penn, Cornell, etc? Any and all responses would be greatly appreciated.

depending on how high above 170 I think you're looking to reach at Harvard and aim CCN.

well, the lsat and final GPA are not set in stone yet. I'm just trying to gauge my possible options should I finish with those numbersClearly wrote:exactly how far above 170 is your official score?

It's hard to give useful chances estimates with hypothetical LSAT scores. Like, if you got a 180 you might be able to get into any school. If you got a 170 you might be looking more at #4 and down. It depends. Come back with a real score for better information.carsonmalbrough wrote:well, the lsat and final GPA are not set in stone yet.
