Social Security number is one off, do I need to go through trouble of changing it?

my social security number is off on one number of it. It seems like it will delay my applications and be a pain to change it. I'm thinking about just leaving it...

I bet it'll be a pain when you sit for the bar, and they run your SSN and can't find a law degree attached to it...
