It's long. You should condense it. Also, british history? Do you really know enough about British history to be able to talk about it at length if it comes up, or do you just know what you learned in class and plan to regurgitate that as a lecture in an interview if it comes up?

Thanks! Yeah I just rewrote it before posting this and have already condensed quite a bit, down to just over a page, so it'll be tough to get that last 1/4 out to get it to a single page. Hahah I mean I'm not an expert, but I know a decent amount about Britain's political and military history, as well as lots of stuff about British cultural history. I don't think you have to be an expert in something to be interested in it, yeah?

I'm not sure how it would really matter in the admissions context, but I put a more specific history interest on my resume and on several occasions got really detailed, genuinely hard questions about it in job interviews. It seemed like some interviewers were trying to see if I actually knew a lot about the subject or not.

I agree about length. You have good information, but you only need a page. Try a different header for your contact information and try using a paragraph format for the body. You can also cut out words that are unnecessary: "various" office actions; "general" administrative duties; "assigned" practitioners. Just say office actions, administrative duties, and practitioners. It's more concise. I also think "Performed integral administrative duties for the office and its staff" does nothing for you. If the duties were so integral, you would just state them. It might just be me, but it bothers me you used "liased." It sounds like you're fluffing up what you did as an intern, which you don't need to do because your internship is impressive.

Good luck on the editing process. It takes a while to get a resume' completely polished, but you've got a great start.

There are multiple places I saw where you can compress multiple lines into one line (GPA, interests, and somewhere in your job scopes). Also, consider simplifying your job responsibilities to highlight important things and shorten the length. I think your goal is one page.

And no, you don't have to be an expert, but it's a conversation opener. Be ready to talk about why and some interesting things you find in it.
