I'm expecting a good LSAT score for the December test, but my GPA is much lower than the median at my target schools, and includes an F in an easy course. I'm wondering if I should submit an explanatory addendum, either for the F or for the low GPA in general.
The reason I performed poorly was because I didn't care about school then. I was in college because everyone expected me to be there, and I had a scholarship. However, law school is something I want to do and am excited about, and I plan to do well. Should I submit an addendum, and if so, what should I say?

3.2. Looks like I shouldn't make an addendum, but won't it reflect extra poorly if I do not address this obvious weakness with my application?Clearly wrote:Prob not, what's your actual gpa?

No, in fact is will reflect a lot worse when you draw attention to the obvious weakness with your application, especially without a really good reason. Think about it. They're either gonna see your GPA, or they're gonna see your GPA and a letter talking about your GPA.fwellow wrote:3.2.
