Gap in resume question

Post by monceau » Wed Dec 09, 2015 12:47 am

Hi all. So currently I'm in the midst of a gap year after having graduated in May. So far I've done all the typical gap year stuff (studied for LSAT, took LSAT, got better score, spent time polishing all my apps, traveled abroad, etc.), but have nothing substantive to put on my resume since May. Since most schools ask about what you're currently doing/if you're currently unemployed in the resume section, what's the best way to address that in my situation? Should I just leave my resume as is (with nothing on it since May) and hope for the best?

It is always best to be honest, but perhaps start thinking of other activities you were involved in such as tutoring, interning, any work or activities you have done to either strengthen your application or you as a student within the year you took off.
