So im on the k-JD train currently, sent in my applications for law school already, however i was making great gains in my practice tests heading into the week of the october lsat. I made an 8 point jump in the week before i wrote the LSAT and was still improving when i wrote the test. I really started to understand it and scored in the low 170's on the real thing(first write). I got a job as an LSAT tutor and its helped me learn the test even more. I feel like i could get a high 170 with some more practice but i already applied for this session.
The other factor is im still 20, started school a year early so ill turn 21 in June of next year. As such I feel like a year off would be beneficial for me. I like tutoring and it pays pretty well, i do it over skype so i could travel while doing so. Would tutoring the LSAT be considered good work experience and thus give me the slight work experience boost for applications or next year(also if test takers are rising again is it gunna be more competitive)? My other option is going back to a job as a Jr Business Analyst(worse money, less flexibility). Ive heard some stuff about W/E helping at OCI's but im not sure if being an LSAT tutor counts as beneficial work experience.
So currently my potential options are #1 Go in to law school this year. Should get into a t14 hopefully with decent money. #2 Take the year off, rewrite the test in June improving chances of acceptance and money and get a year of work experience as a tutor. #3 Take the year off, rewrite lsat and get a more traditional office job(business analyst or something else).
Any advice would be appreciated. I know im on TLS and everyone is gunna tell me that K-JD's are the worst but if i get int t14 with money would you still advise me to take a year off.
Thanks

Re: Work Experience
retaking would b a huge victory for u here
you'll have another year so you'll b a little older, and can get some work experience, improving ur future employability and giving u a great life experience before heading back to school
and u will have more time to think about entering law and deciding amongst/visiting various law schools
plus tutoring lsat is a fun job and pays well and (if ur working for another company) is ez
and with a retake, you'll turn your $$ into $$$$
sometimes ppl come in w/ hard questions but in this case the answer is clear
