I'm applying to all of the schools in the T14 (minus Yale, Stanford, Berkeley) and a few outside of those (WUSTL, Vandy). I've been talking to a few people who have received full ride scholarships, and they all report writing the Why X essay for their school.
What is everyone's experience with writing these? Did they help noticeably?
Also, because I genuinely don't want to write 10+ Why X essays (I will if it helps though
), which schools put the most weight/look the most favorably on these?Thanks for your help!
