Hi everyone,
I quit my job in mid-October to study for the LSAT full-time because it was becoming clear that I wouldn't be able to study given the hours I was working. I am registered for the 12/5/2015 LSAT, studying hard, but I haven't started on apps, personal statements, LORs, etc. Am I wasting my time/taking away from valuable LSAT study time by starting apps now with hopes of applying this cycle?
Background: 3.83 from an Ivy (in a tough major/double minor); currently PTing around 175; 2.5 years' work experience; aiming for T14, but would love to go to T5.
Thanks so much!

T5? You're bound to piss some ppl off using that term lol. Apps should not take that long. We are talking maybe 24 hours here. I'm sure you can do it.gilthoniel wrote:Hi everyone,

I think you can do it as well, especially considering that you won't have your results from the Dec LSAT until a few weeks later and you'll be neither working nor studying for the LSAT during that time. I disagree about the 24-hour time commitment estimate, though. (It took me longer.)
Also, you should ask for LORs now if you haven't already. Even if you decide to apply next cycle, you can still use the LORs, but you never know how long it'll take for your profs to get their letters in...

Thanks so much for the advice, everyone (and apologies for my foolish reference to the chimerical T5--you live and learn)!
I am requesting LORs now (2 from professors and 1 from my former employer), so hopefully will remain on track to apply this cycle.
