when to be realistic with yourself

Post by lawschoolgirl312 » Wed Nov 04, 2015 7:13 pm

When should you be realistic to yourself?

I am scoring around 165-167 on my pratice tests... and I still have school going on ( my senior year)

Should I push through it and just take it, even though I am not very confident at all in my abilities. Or should I concentrate on my GPA and not let that fall and take a gap year?

I want to score at least a 172

Don't take a "gap year." take like three years.

Take at least 2 years off, you can't re-do your GPA like your LSAT.

Seriously, graduate with as high of a GPA is possible and go get a job for a few years. If you still want to go to law school after being a working adult for a few years, fine. You'll do much better at interviewing anyway if you have actual work experience on your resume.

I can seriously not stress WE enough. There are plenty of people in my class who do great without working prior to LS; however, Ive noticed that those who did work before school have better job opportunities, even if their grades/rank are lower, because they interview better, have more to talk about besides school/internships, etc.
