Apply now or after December score Forum

Hi!

I am still confused between applying now vs. after Dec. score release.

What is the difference?
Dec. test will be my 2nd retake. I am definitely not happy with my first two scores.

So, do I apply now and signify that I am going to take Dec. test and click submit?
Or, do I apply after I get my score, which is expected to be released around first week of January?

I don't get the difference; either ways, they will see my old scores, now or later in January, and decide, no?
