Undergraduate Major- American Studies? Forum

Hey everyone, I'm currently a sophomore at a liberal arts college thinking of double majoring in history and American studies. Is American Studies considered a "weak" major as far as law schools are concerned? Does it matter if you have a second major? I realize I'm probably sweating about the little stuff but would love some feedback regardless.

Schools don't care what major you have or how many you have. They pretty much only care about undergrad GPA and LSAT score.

Unlike medical school or pharmacy school, there are no prerequisite degrees or courses that must be taken when applying to law school. So long as you have a strong application which includes a solid GPA and LSAT scores, personal statement, supplemental application, and letters of recommendation that should be sufficient. Generally, law schools do not have specific requirements in terms of what area students obtain their degree in. Just be sure to present a strong application.
