Can I submit additional LOR after I submit my application?

Hi all,

This is probably a silly question, but I currently have two LORs from academic professors. I've been out of school 2 years, so I'd like to add a recommendation from my current employer.However, my boss has been really slow to submit my letter. I'm ready to submit my apps in every other way-- is there a way to submit the application with 2 LORs now and then update them somehow with the third letter when it comes through? Thanks!
