Lsac gpa question

Post by corgiterrier17 » Mon Oct 26, 2015 2:30 am

YLS website shows the median gpa of entering class at Yale as 3.93 and the highest gpa is 4.28. So their scale is 4.3, not 4.0?
But I thought they use lsac gpa, which is scaled on 4.0.
I am a bit confused... When they say the median gpa is 3.93, is it out of 4.0 or 4.3?

Thanks!!!

This.

It kind of makes those who went to undergrad without the A+ as an option - which I thought we left behind us with grammar school (even my secondary school didn't give out any A+s) - feel just a little bit robbed.
