Application Numbers? 2015-2016
The previous several cycles saw record declines in the number of applicants applying to law school. This made applying late less of an issue. What are the predictions for the trends for this cycle? I'm retaking in December, trying to break 170-1 (where I am PTing now). Is January considered extremely late? Or is it more of an advantage to increase my LSAT first. I don't want to send out applications with my current score only to be rejected.

Applying in January isn't extremely late. The fact the applying before Thanksgiving=early does not mean that January=extremely late. You miss ED deadlines, but you're only slightly behind the well-prepared in the overall context.

If the school I want to apply to have a ED deadline of somewhere far away, does apply in Jan considered late for ED? (Emory and WashU)lymenheimer wrote:Applying in January isn't extremely late. I'm assuming you mean an ED deadline later in the cycle (wording kinda confused me). If so, then I would assume if you beat the deadline then you're fine. I don't know much about the later ED programs as they are kinda counter intuitive considering the deadlines are later than some RD decisions.Tiny123 wrote:If the school I want to apply to have a ED deadline of somewhere far away, does apply in Jan considered late for ED?
