I would like to write an addendum for my law school app regarding my lsat score. The first time I took it I got a 147 and the next time I got a 160.
I have never been a strong test taker, but in this particular insistence the circumstances were just not in my favor.
I don't want to get judged for this question - it really is just an honest question.
I was dumped on the day of my 4 year anniversary/ September 27th LSAT exam (2 hrs. before the exam). Needless to say I bombed it with a 147. I know I should have cancelled it, but I didn't. My parents are foreign and they don't really get the law school process and encouraged me to not cancel my score.
The second time around I did much better, but I am pretty sure I could have done better if it wasn't for my anxiety around the lsat after the 1st time.
The question - I am not someone who likes to pity myself or come up with many excuses, but I really feel like it affected me the first time for sure and a little bit the second time around. How do I word it on my addendum so it doesn't get too personal ( I don't mind sharing, but I think it is more professional if I don't), but at the same time not have it sound so vague, "like I had a family emergency."
Do you think I should add an addendum? Do you think I should just say exactly what happened? Please help.

Re: Addendum - LSAT
An addendum will be expected due to the significant difference in your two scores. All you need to share is that an upsetting personal matter occurred two hours before taking the first LSAT that made it difficult to concentrate during the test.
